I'm Duncan McGregor. I trade gold, and I'll teach you to do the same.
I trade gold — XAUUSD and gold futures — around the London and New York opens, from a desk in the UK. No signals group, no faceless brand. Just me, a small group, and one market done properly.
I built Wave Rider because I needed it, and I teach the way I wish someone had taught me: live, hands-on, and honest about the risk. We work on reading structure, managing drawdown, and passing prop-firm evaluations — because getting funded is where most people fall down.

What exactly do I get?
Access to the Wave Rider indicator on TradingView plus its live alert feed. Once you subscribe, your TradingView username is granted access and you add it to any chart in a couple of clicks.
Which markets does it work on?
It's tuned for gold — XAUUSD and gold futures (GC). We go deep on one market rather than spreading thin.
How fast do I get access?
Usually within minutes of subscribing. Access is tied to your TradingView username, which you provide at checkout or straight after.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan?
No — Wave Rider works on the free tier. A paid TradingView plan simply unlocks more indicators and alerts on their side, but it isn't required.
How do the alerts reach me?
Signals are delivered to your phone via Telegram, so you can step away from the chart and still catch every setup.
Is this financial advice or a signal-copying service?
No. Wave Rider is a charting and analysis tool. It does not manage money, place trades, or give personalised financial advice. You make every decision. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — it's a monthly subscription you can cancel whenever you like from your account. Access simply ends at the close of your billing period.
Are you affiliated with TradingView?
No. Wave Rider is an independent third-party indicator that runs on the TradingView platform. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by TradingView.
Will this work on my prop firm account?
Yes — Wave Rider runs inside TradingView and the signals appear on any chart, so it sits alongside any prop-firm setup. Members use it with firms like Topstep, Apex, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader, FTMO Futures and Bulenox. The indicator itself is broker-agnostic — you place your trades through whatever platform your prop firm uses.
Is this a "set and forget" auto-trader?
No, and we'd never sell it as one. Wave Rider is a discretionary tool — it gives you confluence-confirmed entries with stops and targets printed on the chart, but you place the trade. The point is to remove the guesswork, not your judgment.
What's the win rate?
Anyone publishing a precise win rate on an indicator is selling you a fantasy. It depends on which contracts and timeframes you trade, how strictly you use the regime gate and filters, and how disciplined you are with your stops. Members typically report fewer, cleaner trades and a tighter risk profile — which is the actual point.
Can I share access with my friend or trading buddy?
No. Wave Rider is licensed per individual TradingView account. Sharing access is grounds for immediate suspension with no refund. We do monitor it — and we'd rather have one paying member than two free riders.
